The Talus Airdrop: Everything You Need To Know

Introduction

Talus is breaking new ground with a community reward model that puts long-term value and alignment first. Instead of handing out liquid tokens that often spark a rush to sell, we’re launching the crypto industry’s first 100% LP-based airdrop, a mechanism designed to grow with you, not disappear overnight.

This airdrop reflects our core belief: the people who carried Talus forward deserve assets that carry them forward too. Its innovative design rewards long-term holders, avoids forced lockups, provides long-term value, and creates a genuine win-win situation for the entire community. Talus is airdropping yield-generating liquidity positions in the form of $yUS tokens, a fungible token that wraps an automated LP strategy for a US-USDC pool on Momentum DEX through a NODO AI Vault. Who is included?

The Talus TGE Community Airdrop is built to reward the people who stood with us through the earliest, most important stages of the project. Every group included here contributed in a different, but equally meaningful, way to the growth of Talus, Nexus, and the broader agent economy we’re building.

Tallys NFT Holders

Tallys represent the very first community identity layer of the Talus ecosystem. They’re a signal of belief before any products launched, before the testnet, and long before TGE. Tally holders formed the core of our early community, supported campaigns, and helped define the culture that surrounds Talus today.

To honor this, Tally NFT Holders receive the majority of the total airdrop rewards. Eligibility is based on a snapshot taken on November 17th at 9 am CST / 10 am EDT. Each eligible wallet receives a base allocation for its first Tally NFT, with additional base allocations for each subsequent NFT held in the same wallet.

Community Hub Participants (Seasons 1, 2 & 3)

Our Community Hub has been one of the strongest signals of genuine interest and long-term alignment. Thousands of people showed up to test, engage socially, provide feedback, and help shape Talus Vision, Nexus, and the testnet itself.

To qualify, you must appear in the top 500 on either the Season 1,2, or 3 leaderboards and hold a Talizen discord role. Eligible participants receive allocations proportional to the points they earned, reflecting the depth of their engagement across community tasks.

This reward reflects the human effort behind every shard, point, and ranking on the Hub. Your participation helped us improve the product, refine systems, and stress-test the network before mainnet. Allocations are based on your verified point totals, using the X account linked to the Community Hub.

KBW Event Attendees

Our presence at Korea Blockchain Week marked a major step in expanding Talus internationally. The people who attended, engaged with the team, and completed the event qualification steps helped extend Talus’s reach into one of the world’s most active crypto ecosystems.

KBW Event Attendees who physically attended Talus’s Korea Blockchain Week event on September 23rd and completed all required steps (including submitting the event qualification form with the correct X account handle) are eligible for an allocation.

Talus Kaito Yappers

Talus Kaito Yappers have consistently driven attention, conversation, and awareness across X. They often act as amplifiers of Talus’s narrative before the broader market noticed. Their role in educating and engaging the community deserves special recognition.

The top 500 Kaito Yappers are eligible, but only those who successfully complete pre-registration and the claim steps within the deadline will receive their allocation. This ensures the allocation goes only to real, verified supporters who complete the required steps.

Kaito Stakers (Managed by Kaito)

Allocations for Kaito stakers are fully managed, verified, and distributed directly by the Kaito platform, not Talus. This includes both the liquid and vested components. For questions, users should reach out directly to Kaito support.

How It Works

The airdrop process is divided into two distinct phases:

Phase 1: Pre-Registration (November 24th - 28th)

All eligible recipients must complete pre-registration during this window to qualify. The process is straightforward:

  1. Visit the official link: Go to launch.talus.foundation (always verify the URL from official Talus channels).
  2. Connect your wallet: Use the wallet that held your Tally NFT during the November 17th snapshot (if applicable). This wallet will be permanently tied to your airdrop claim.
  3. Connect your X (Twitter) account: This step is required if you participated in Seasons 1, 2, or 3, the Kaito Yapper campaign or attended the KBW event. Use the same X account you used for those activities.
  4. Eligibility Check: The system will automatically confirm whether the connected wallet and accounts meet the criteria.
  5. Proof of Humanity Verification: Complete a one-time verification using a privacy-preserving proof of uniqueness. No personal data or images are stored.
  6. Submit Registration: Review all linked accounts carefully, then submit. You can only register once. After submission, you cannot modify your wallet or X account.

It's crucial to note that you can only register once. Once submitted, you cannot change the wallet or X account you've registered with.

Phase 2: Claim (To be Announced)

All registered recipients must claim during this three-day window. No exceptions will be made after the deadline.

  1. Return to launch.talus.foundation: connect the same wallet you used during pre-registration.
  2. Claim your airdrop: When you claim your airdrop, the transaction will include a $10 fee (paid in SUI) that goes to Clique, the airdrop distribution provider. Talus doesn't receive any portion of this fee.
  3. Stake your $yUS Tokens: After claiming, you'll be able to stake your $yUS tokens. Early stakers can secure high APY rates that compound on top of the yield already built into the $yUS tokens.
  4. Celebrate and Share:: A one-click sharing button will allow you to post your claim on X and help spread excitement for $US.

  2. Complete the pre-registration process as soon as possible. Since you can only register once and cannot make changes afterward, take your time to ensure all information is correct before submitting.
  3. Then prepare for the claim window, when you'll need to claim your airdrop. Have approximately $10 worth of SUI ready in your wallet to cover the service provider fee. Consider whether you want to stake your $yUS immediately to take advantage of the early staker APY benefits.
