Talus x ORA: Pioneering Initial Agent Offerings
We are thrilled to partner with ORA, the verifiable oracle protocol. Through this collaboration, we will be introducing verifiable inferences for a novel Initial Agent Offering (IAO) framework for smart agents. Users will be able to invest in these agents akin to assets in traditional markets, accompanied by full transparency and native programmability. In the long term, this AI innovation will democratize access to AI Agents for all.
ORA: Verifiable Inferences for Initial Agent Offerings (IAOs)
ORA provides fully on-chain verifiability by integrating opML into Talus. When AI agents are deployed, there needs to be a mechanism that ensures ownership tokens are tied to the right agent. ORA becomes an essential inference engine for Talus smart agents, ensuring that IAO operations are verifiable and trustless.
Once agents start performing work, users can pay for agentic activity via fees that are distributed to holders of the IAO tokens. This is handled through a revenue-sharing contract on Talus Network and tied to the IAO model on ORA. Revenue sharing would provide meaningful liquidity to agent owners.
Here’s how the IAO would work:
- A developer initiates IAO on Talus.
- Ownership tokens are created for the IAO.
- ORA creates verifiable inferences for the IAO.
- Users purchase tokenized shares of the AI agent on the Talus AI marketplace.
- The agent is deployed.
- Users pay fees for agentic activity
- Fees are distributed through a shared revenue contract to owners of the IAO.
Foundations for Agentic Ownership
In recent years, most of the innovation in AI has been monopolized by the industry-leading centralized cloud giants, driven largely by capital and compute constraints. As a result, it has been very difficult for start-ups to compete, obstructing the majority of the population from realizing the benefits of AI development.
Democratization of AI is one of the core tenets of Talus, and it’s why our mission is to allow anyone to have permissionless access to resources to build performant smart agents. Once these smart agents are deployed, they will be able to autonomously live, interact, and transact on user intents in a thriving agentic economy, interacting with value, information and assets on-chain.
Our vision is a world where everyone can have ownership of these agents. Through an IAO framework, users will be able to purchase ownership of deployed agents and actively trade them on an open AI marketplace. By partnering with ORA, we aim to provide a seamless experience for any user to initiate IAOs and capture value for on-chain agentic activity.
Looking Ahead
Together, ORA and Talus are creating novel monetization models for AI smart agents to improve blockchain AI. IAOs enable true ownership of onchain smart agents with maximum transparency and verifiability for IAO operations. Furthermore, revenue streams from agentic work will be a strong catalyst for innovation, creating a robust flywheel for the growth of the agentic economy.
About Talus
Talus is building the universal deployment engine for AI Smart Agents (what some call Autonomous AI Agents or Intelligent Agents.)
We are creating a decentralized AI protocol where individuals can freely exchange data, models, and computational power to make AI transparent and verifiable. Leveraging the security, performance, and developer experience of the Move programming language, Talus is the foundation of the Smart Agent Revolution and a new era of consumer AI.
